T20 World Cup 2022: WATCH – “More than a just a cricket match,” WWE legend 'The Rock' excited for India-Pakistan clash

Ahead of the big game, WWE and Hollywood superstar Dwayne Johnson has expressed his excitement, adding up to the hype around the much-awaited clash between the traditional rivals.

Fondly known as “The Rock”, Dwayne Johnson is currently promoting his movie Black Adam in India and shared his excitement for the match in a video posted on Star Sports Twitter.

“When the greatest rivals collide, the world will stand still. This is more than a just a cricket match. It is time for India vs Pakistan,” The Rock can be heard as saying.

Ahead of the marquee clash, the Indian and Pakistani players are fine-tuning their preparations by playing warm-up games in Brisbane.

On Monday (October 17), the Men in Blue defeated Australia by six runs in the first warm-up fixture while the Men in Green suffered a six-wicket loss at the hands of England in a rain-hit second practice match.

India and Pakistan have one more warm-up match left before they face each other in the Super-12 round. While the inaugural T20 champions will take on New Zealand at the Gabba on October 19, Pakistan will lock horns with Afghanistan at the same venue on the same
