The BCCI has announced the India women’s squad for the ODI and T20I tour of England which will happen in September. India is slated to play 3 T20Is from Sept 10-15 and 3 ODIs from Sept 18-24.
Nagaland batter Kiran Prabhu (KP) Navgire, who recently made quite a name for herself earned a maiden call-up in the Indian T20I squad while allrounder Dayalan Hemalatha also made a comeback.
Wicketkeeper Richa Ghosh returned to the T20I squad but batter Harleen Deol and Yastika Bhatia, who were part of the silver-medal finish in Birmingham, lost their place for the tour of England.
Jemimah Rodrigues ruled out of The Hundred due to injury
On the other hand, in the ODI squad, 39-year-old veteran pacer Jhulan Goswami returned to the fold after missing the Sri Lanka series amidst rumors of retirement. Also making her comeback in the ODI format is Jemimah Rodrigues, who last a 50-over international in July 2021.
