England Women to host Indian team for a limited-overs series in September 2022

ECB also announced to host South Africa in a multi-format series in June-July 2022.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on Tuesday (February 15), announced home fixtures for England Women, who will have a bumper home season against India and South Africa.

England will host South Africa Women for a multi-format series in June-July 2022 before hosting the Indian women's cricket team for a white-ball series in September 2022.

England and India will play three ODIs and as many T20Is, in September 2022, while South Africa will play a one-off Test, three ODIs, and as many as three T20Is later this year.

Clare Connor, Managing Director of England Women’s Cricket, stated: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have scheduled two series against two of the best teams in the world, in what is destined to be another hugely exciting year for the women’s game.”

She added, “It’s fantastic that we’ve been able to include Lord’s and the Riverside Ground as venues for two of this year’s fixtures. They will be exciting events for the women’s game as we continue to try and take our game to as many fans as possible.”

Here are complete details of England Women’s fixtures against India:

First T20- September 10 (The Riverside Ground, Durham)

Second T20- September 13 (The Incora County Ground, Derby)

Third T20- September 15 (Bristol County Ground, Bristol)

First ODI -September 18 (The 1st Central County Ground, Hove)

Second ODI- September 21 (The Spitfire Ground, Canterbury)

Third ODI- September 24 (Lord’s Cricket Ground, London)

Meanwhile, England’s home fixtures against South African women will begin with a one-off Test on June 27 at County Ground, Taunton followed by a three-match ODI series from July 11 and three T20Is from July 21 at County Cricket Ground, Chelmsford.

One-off Test – June 27-30 (County Ground, Taunton)

First ODI – July 11 (County Cricket Ground, Northampton)

Second ODI – July 15 (Bristol County Ground, Bristol)

Third ODI – July 18 (Grace Road, Leicester)

First T20I – July 21 (County Cricket Ground, Chelmsford)

Second T20I – July 23 (New Road, Worcester)

Third T20I – July 25 (County Cricket Ground, Derby)

They will be soon seen in action in the upcoming ICC Women’s World Cup 2022, starting from March 4 in New Zealand. England will play a warm-up game against Bangladesh on February 28 and then South Africa on February March 2 before kick-starting their Women’s World Cup 2022 campaign against Australia on March 5 at Seddon Park, Hamilton.
