Australia have suffered an injury concern ahead of their second match of the T20 World Cup 2021 against Sri Lanka, to be played on Thursday (October 28) in Dubai.

Pace spearhead Mitchell Starc hobbled off the park with an injured leg during the team's practice session at ICC Academy Ground in Dubai on Tuesday night.

He was seen wearing a brace on his right knee in few pictures from Australia's training session on Wednesday.

Starc featured for Australia in their opening match against South Africa, picking up 2/32 in his four overs as the Aaron Finch-led side clinched victory by five wickets in a low-scoring contest in Abu Dhabi.

The left-arm pacer skipped IPL 2021 to keep himself fresh for the T20 World Cup and Ashes, so it would be quite worrying for him and his team if the injury is serious enough to keep him out of the all-important game against Sri Lanka.

Starc has taken 255, 195 and 53 wickets in 61 Tests, 99 ODIs and 42 T20Is respectively and is considered to be among the most dangerous white-ball bowlers in the world.
