Alyssa Healy, Australia's ODI captain, playing the final international match of her career, hammered a brilliant 158 against India in the ongoing 3rd match of the series. This match is being played at the Bellerive Oval, Hobart, on March 1, 2026.
India captain Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and chose to field first as they aimed to avoid a series whitewash. India managed to dismiss Phoebe Litchfield for 14 runs, but then Georgia Voll and Alyssa Healy got together to add 104 runs for the second wicket.
Voll fell for 62 runs, and then Beth Mooney joined Healy and added 145 runs for the third wicket. The star of the show was Alyssa Healy, who slammed her 8th ton in ODIs, reaching the milestone in 79 balls. She also reached the 150-run mark off 95 balls, finally falling for 158 runs in 98 balls, hitting 27 fours and 2 sixes.
Alyssa Healy, who had announced her retirement from international cricket before this tournament, celebrated with a smile and contentment as she reached her 8th and final ODI ton.
Mitchell Starc, Healy’s husband and ace Australian pacer, was present in the commentary box when Alyssa reached the three-figure mark and was seen applauding her with big claps.
