U19CWC 2020: WATCH – Kohli, Shastri send best wishes to India U-19 team ahead of the final

India's senior cricket team members on Saturday (February 8) sent positive vibes for the Boys in Blue ahead of their all-important final clash against Bangladesh in the ongoing ICC Under-19 World Cup.

The Priyam Garg-led India U-19 side have recorded massive victories in all their three group matches against Sri Lanka, Japan and New Zealand. Moreover, they thrashed Australia U-19 in the quarter-final clash by 74 runs before annihilating Pakistan in the semi-final by 10 wickets.

In a video posted by the BCCI on their official website, skipper Virat Kohli wished the team all the best before adding that he and his troops will be glued to the screen during the big final.

"Hi, guys all the very best for the big day tomorrow, play the cricket that u guys have been playing and we all will be watching you definitely, sending you best wishes and positivity. All I am gonna say is that just go on there and back yourself and believe in your game, Good luck," Kohli said.

Head coach Ravi Shastri came up with a wish in his own unique style, urging the U-19 team to give their best in the last game.

"Hey guys all the best for the finals, you know you have done a great job in the tournament so far leave the best for the last," Shastri said.

All-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Shardul Thakur also had words of encouragement for the India U-19 side on the eve of the final.

"You have made us proud you have made the nation proud by reaching the finals of U19 World Cup. You have played amazingly in the league stage, all the very best, hopefully we win get the cup back home," Thakur said.

"Congratulations to U19 team, they have done so well and all the very best for the finals go hard and bring the Cup home," Jadeja said.

Mayank Agarwal, Navdeep Saini and Kedar Jadhav, who are currently featuring in the ODI series against New Zealand, also conveyed their best wishes.
