Opting to bat first, Thailand posted 150/3 in 20 overs – their highest-ever T20I score. However, the teams had to share points as the match got abandoned due to rain.

Despite the unpleasant outcome, Thailand players were in great spirits and they delighted the fans with an impromptu dance during the rain break.

The official handle of T20 World Cup posted a video of their dance on Twitter with a caption reading: "During the rain delay, Thailand kept the fans entertained on the big screen with an impromptu dance-off. Thank you for being part of #TheBigDance!"

Afghanistan’s ace spinner Rashid Khan was also impressed with the dance as he replied to the tweet, calling himself a "fan of Thailand team now".
