Rohit led India to the T20 World Cup 2024 title win last month.

Rohit, 37, had gone to USA for a vacation in the wake of India’s T20 World Cup 2024 triumph last month. He was accompanied by his wife and daughter all this while.

Upon his arrival at the airport, the title-winning captain was greeted by a large crowd. The passionate fans were eager to catch a glimpse of their cricketing hero.

One of fans also requested Rohit Sharma for a photograph, saying: "Rohit sir ek photo dedo na " (Rohit sir, please have a selfie with me).

Rohit Sharma retired from T20Is after leading India to the T20 World Cup win in the Caribbean. However, he continues to remain the captain in ODIs and Tests and will now shift his focus to longer formats with big assignments coming up in the next few months.

Rohit will be next seen in action during the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka, starting on August 2 in Colombo.
