T20 World Cup 2024: WATCH- Afghanistan players sing and dance to Dwayne Bravo’s ‘Champion’ after win over Australia

Afghanistan players after defeating Australia | GettyAfghanistan defeated Australia by 21 runs in a thrilling encounter in their Group 1 Super 8s clash to keep their 2024 T20 World Cup semi-finals alive. This match was played at the Arnos Vale Ground in Kingston.

Afghanistan was asked to bat first by Mitchell Marsh and the side rode on brilliant performances from openers Rahmanullah Gurbaz (60) and Ibrahim Zadran (51).

Chasing a modest 149 for victory, the Aussies folded for 127 to lose the match by 21 runs, with Glenn Maxwell scoring a fifty. Gulbadin Naib (4/20) and Naveen-ul-Haq (3/20) were the stars with the ball for Afghanistan.

The Afghan players were seen singing and dancing to DJ Bravo's song 'Champion' aboard their team van as they returned to their hotel. Bravo is the Afghan team's bowling coach for the tournament, and he was seen dancing at the rear of the van with the guys.
