WATCH: Virat Kohli reminds fans of ‘Gully Cricket’ as he goes searching for ball during India vs Bangladesh match

The incident took place during the 17th over of Bangladesh’s innings.

Virat Kohli | ICCFans witnessed a hilarious moment during India’s Super 8 match of the T20 World Cup 2024 against Bangladesh in Antigua on Saturday (June 22), involving Virat Kohli.

India’s star batter evoked the childhood memories as he was seen searching for the ball beyond the boundary ropes.

In what seemed like a platform being used for fireworks, Kohli was seen going under it to get the ball after Rishad Hossain smashed it for a maximum.

The incident took place in the 17th over of Bangladesh’s innings when Hossain picked Arshdeep Singh’s slower delivery and deposited it over the deep mid-wicket fence.

As the ball sailed over the boundary cushion, it somehow managed to go under the platform. Kohli was then seen going over the advertising hoardings and snuck under the platform to fetch the ball.
