Virat Kohli’s form in the T20 World Cup 2024 will be in focus as India prepares for the Super Eight stage match against Afghanistan. This match will be played in Barbados on June 20, 2024.

When India played its group stage matches in New York, Virat Kohli failed to find momentum as he opened the innings with Rohit Sharma. He has scores of 1,4 and 0 in three matches and everyone is hoping that Kohli comes to form when the Super 8s stage begins.

India will face Afghanistan on June 20, Australia on June 22, and Bangladesh on June 24 in this stage, where the top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-final of the T20 World Cup.

Meanwhile, former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan has backed Virat Kohli to come good in the Super 8s stage for India.

"He knows how to stand up in big matches, isn't he? That's what makes him really, really special. He's a special player and I'm sure he's going to put his hand up and say OK, I'm going to do this for Team India. When the time comes, especially in the big matches, we have always seen Virat Kohli perform. Just wait and watch, the slog sweep will come out now.
