T20 World Cup 2022: WATCH- Frustrated Pakistani supporter after Nawaz’s wicket reminds people of 2019 WC Pak fan

Pakistan set England 138 runs to win the T20 World Cup 2022 final.

Jos Buttler won the toss and chose to bowl first. Pakistan struggled to get free-flowing on the pitch against a disciplined England bowling and only Shan Masood (38), Babar Azam (32), and Shadab Khan (20) managed significant scores as Pakistan managed 137/8.

For England, Sam Curran with 3/12 and Adil Rashid with 2/22 was the pick of the bowlers.

During the Pakistani innings, as the Men in Green struggled to force the pace against the England death overs bowlers, their supporters continued to cheer them on in the MCG.

However, one fan was not happy with the Pakistani batting as after Mohammad Nawaz fell to Sam Curran in the 19th over, cameras caught one Pakistani fan with hands on his hips head shaking with an exasperated reaction on his face.

This reminded many fans of another Pakistani fan, who was caught by cameras during the 2019 World Cup match between Pakistan and Australia when a Men in Green fielder had dropped a catch near the boundary.

The ICC also noticed the similarity and posted a comparison on Instagram.
