The marquee India versus Pakistan clash will mark Rohit Sharma’s debut as a captain in an ICC tournament. Notably, Rohit was appointed India’s full-time T20I skipper after Virat Kohli stepped down from the position in November last year.

On the other hand, Suryakumar Yadav is entering the T20 World Cup, having established himself as one of India’s leading batters in the shortest format. In 34 T20Is, the right-hander has amassed 1045 runs at an average of 38.70 and a strike rate of 176.81, including one hundred and nine half-centuries.
