Two of the most talented, young cricketers of the current generation, pacer Shaheen Afridi and spinner Rashid Khan were seen engrossed in animated conversation during Pakistan vs Afghanistan warmup match which was played in Brisbane on October 19, 2022.
Afghanistan had batted first after losing the toss and Shaheen took 2/29 in his 4 overs. They managed to make 154/6 with captain Mohammad Nabi making 51*, Ibrahim Zadran making 35, and Usman Ghani making 32*.
Apart from Shaheen, Haris Rauf also picked 2/34, while Mohammad Nawaz and Shadab Khan picked one wicket each. Pakistan could only play 2.2 overs scoring 19 runs of which 13 came off extras before the rain came down pouring and led to the match ending.

Shaheen, who is marking his return to the Pakistan team after a long injury lay-off sat alongside his Lahore Qalandars teammate Rashid in the dugout.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) shared a video of the two engaged in an engaging chat. The camaraderie between the two was quite visible as Rashid and Shaheen were all smiles during the chat.
