As preparations for the much-awaited clash between India and Pakistan on October 23 in MCG in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 are going in full swing, Mohammad Shami and Shaheen Shah Afridi were seen interacting with each other on the sideline of the practice session in Brisbane.

While Shami joined India's T20 World Cup 2022 squad after replacing injured pacer Jasprit Bumrah, Shaheen Afridi joined the Pakistan squad after completing his rehab from knee injury and is slated to play in the warmup matches for the Men in Green.

Well, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday (October 17) shared a video on its official Twitter, where the Pakistani players and coaching staff were seen meeting Indian and Australian players during the net session at The Gabba, Brisbane.

The most appealing part of the PCB clip was that Shami was seen having a delightful time and even turned mentor to the Pakistani pace sensation Shaheen. The Indian pacer was seen sharing bowling tips with Afridi, as the duo was sweating it out at the nets.

Shaheen said: “Shami bhai kaise hai aap (How are you). Jabse maine bowling start ki hai tabse mai aapko follow kar raha hun, aapki na wrist position aur seam ka jawab nahi hai (I am following you since I started bowling and from that time I have been a big fan of your wrist position and upright seam).”

Shami replied, “Agar release point acha ho jayega na seam bhi theek ho jayega (if the release point is on point, then the seam will be automatically good.”

Many fans were impressed as Afridi was keen to learn from Shami, who was also openly sharing his knowledge despite the rivalry between the two nations, and most importantly, the two teams are set to face each other on the big stage in less than a week at the MCG.
