Pakistani fans and journalists have made some absurd claims on social media.

Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has lashed out at the fans, especially Pakistani ones, after the fixing allegations against the Indian cricket team following their back-to-back thumping victories over Afghanistan and Scotland in the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021.

He further pointed out that the whole world, including India, hailed Pakistan’s win over the India team and appreciated the Men in Green’s remarkable efforts in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2021, but when the Men in Blue are doing well and winning the matches, they were calling the matches “fixed” or “unfair”, which is pretty cheap and disgraceful.

There were allegations on social media that India's match against Afghanistan was fixed after Team India’s 8-wicket win and even such chatter continued after the match against Scotland.

Slamming the fans for misbehaving, the commentator also took a dig at Pakistan while reminding them that a number of players were involved in match-fixing and were still playing cricket.

Pakistan is unbeaten in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021, having won all 4 of their matches so far to secure a semi-final spot, and Harbhajan said they deserve all the praise they are getting, but feels Pakistan fans and journalists are unable to digest their win over India, given the way they are making the serious allegations against the Men in Blue instead of praising the team’s comeback in the global event.

Harbhajan said on his YouTube channel, “We accept that Pakistan have played very good cricket and everyone also appreciates them for playing so well against India and beating them. Congratulations on that. But if you start misbehaving by claiming that you play fair cricket and if we win, you doubt us, term it unfair, fixed then that is wrong. We all know your cricketers' reputation.”

He signed off by saying, “Pakistan fans are unable to digest their win over India, which they got after waiting for so many years in World Cups. There is a way to talk and raise questions. But people are putting serious allegations against us, against Rashid Khan which is pretty cheap and disgraceful.”

Noteworthy, Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan was reportedly targeted by trolls on social media after he failed to pick up a single wicket in the T20 World Cup match against India.
