Former India cricketer Wasim Jaffer explained the current qualifying scenario for Team India and Australia into the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2021. He posted a meme from the Bollywood comedy movie 'Dhamaal' to share the way ahead for both the teams.

While India needs to win their last match against Namibia and hope for Afghanistan to crush New Zealand for a chance to qualify, Australia will also have to beat West Indies in their last group stage match, and hope for England to defeat South Africa.

Australia, with three wins, are ahead of South Africa who have equal wins due to a better net run rate. In the other group, India have a better net run rate than every other team, but they haven't won enough matches for direct qualification.

"Current situation ????: India and AUS not only need to win but need AFG and ENG to win too for certain/easier passage. #T20WorldCup," wrote Jaffer on Twitter with the meme.

On Friday (November 5), India boosted their net run rate with an easy win over Scotland. Asked to bat first, Scotland got all-out for 85 in 17.4 overs, and Indian batters reached the target in 6.3 overs for their second win in four matches.
