Cricketer-turned-commentator Aakash Chopra suggested two changes for Team India ahead of their must-win ICC T20 World Cup 2021 clash against Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi.

Indian team not having the greatest of times in the T20 World Cup 2021. The Virat Kohli-led side dented their chances of qualifying for the semi-finals after displaying a poor performance against New Zealand.

After a 10-wicket hammering against Pakistan, everyone expected the Virat Kohli-led side to stage a dominant comeback but this wasn’t the case as they yet again failed to rise to the occasion and were at the receiving end of an 8-wicket drubbing.

They are now slated to play Afghanistan in their third match of the tournament today (3rd November) and with three quality spinners in the opposition ranks, it won’t be an easy task for India to beat the Mohammad Nabi-led side in a must-win game.

Ahead of India’s clash against Afghanistan, former cricketer-turned-commentator Aakash Chopra suggested two changes for the Men in Blue.

According to Chopra, Team India should play Suryakumar Yadav if fit in place of Ishan Kishan. He further said that Rahul Chahar should also be added into the mix in place of Varun Chakravarthy.

“I’ll make 2 changes to the playing XI today if SKY is fit & available. If not, one change in the XI & one tactical. Rahul Chahar in place of Varun C (Chakravarthy), SKY in place of Ishan…if SKY is unavailable, Ishan to bat in the middle order,” Aakash Chopra Tweeted.

The ‘Men in Blue’ now have to win all their remaining matches by big margins and are also dependant on the result of other teams if they have to fancy their chances of qualifying for the semi-finals.
