As the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 is approaching, many former cricketers and experts have started dropping their analysis, picking their favorites and squads for the multi-nation competition and now Ajay Jadeja and Ajit Agarkar have joined the bandwagon over the trending topic.

During an interaction on the Sony Sports channel, former India cricketers Jadeja and Agarkar picked their combined India squad for the T20 World Cup 2021 to be held in the UAE and Oman later this year.

Starting with the obvious picks, they named the most experienced and batting mainstays of India Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma – the leading run-getters in the T20I cricket with 3159 and 2864 runs respectively. They could possibly open the innings for the Indian cricket team in the multi-nation event.

Jadeja and Agarkar also picked Prithvi Shaw and KL Rahul as the top-order players for India while choosing Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Rishabh Pant for the middle-order. Rahul has already scored 1557 runs in the T20Is, while Rishabh has proved his mettle across the formats, whereas Suryakumar and Ishan are the rising stars of India, especially in the shortest format of the game.

The two former Indian cricketers further went on to choose Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja as all-rounders for India as the two bring perfect balance to the team and are also exceptional fielders who have the ability to change the game on their own.

On the bowling front, the commentators went with Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar while their spin attack consists of Yuzvendra Chahal, Rahul Chahar, and Varun Chakravarthy.
