Bollywood superstar and cricket buff Suniel Shetty recently picked his Indian squad for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2020. Though the Coronavirus pandemic has put a question mark over its organization, ICC and Cricket Australia will have a discussion soon.
Shetty picked KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma as openers, leaving out Shikhar Dhawan and then chose Kohli and Iyer to finish the top four of the batting.
Suniel, in conversation with former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra for his YouTube channel, also opined on the Rishabh Pant or Sanju Samson debate and reckoned that Pant is "supremely talented", he also feels that the youngster should lose "4 to 5 kilos of weight".
On answering the question, Suniel picked MS Dhoni as he felt that the veteran is getting fitter by the day and that "he will be back in a very very big way".
Apart from Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja as all-rounders, Shetty picked Vijay Shankar as well. As for the other spinners, Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal were named and Bumrah, Chahar, Shami, and Bhuvneshwar were named as the fast bowlers in the squad.
