NZ v IND 2020: Cricket fraternity stunned by Ravindra Jadeja’s superman catch; praises him

You have Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Manish Pandey and a couple of more who are very good in the field; but Jadeja has made a niche for himself just based on his fielding.

He showed why he is rated so high amongst his peers and even Jonty Rhodes, the best fielder of all time, as determined by fans and other players, rated Jadeja as one of the five top fielders of all time. During the second day of the second Test between India and New Zealand at Christchurch; Jadeja showed his brilliance by taking an amazing catch to dismiss Neil Wagner.

Shami had bowled a short delivery to Wagner, who hooked it straight to the fine leg position, where Jadeja was stationed. Jadeja anticipated it well, jumped and put his hand out, where the ball stuck, leaving the batsman, bowler his teammates amazed.

"I knew he would play a shot there. I was waiting at fine leg but I didn't know that the ball would come at double pace. I just put my hands there and it stuck," India Today quoted him as saying.

The cricket fraternity just couldn’t have enough of the catch and took to Twitter to show their reactions.
