India opener young Prithvi Shaw did not have a good return to the Test arena as he failed to make an impact in the ongoing Test match between India and New Zealand at the Basin Reserve in Wellington.
Shaw, who is playing his first Test match since his debut series against West Indies at home in 2018, managed 16 and 14 in two innings against New Zealand. He was preferred over Shubman Gill, who had tremendous success with the India A side here, even scoring a double ton to save a match for this team.

Unfortunately, Twitterati was not so kind towards the young Mumbaikar, who was mercilessly trolled by them for his failure to cope with Kiwi bowlers in the “Windy Wellington.” After Tim Southee knocked out Shaw's stumps on day one, Trent Boult today surprised him with a short-pitched delivery.
