Speedster Jasprit Bumrah lost his numero uno spot in the latest released ICC ODI bowling rankings after a disappointing series against New Zealand in which India coped a 3-0 whitewash.

Bumrah slipped to No. 2 position having dropped 45 rating points. He is now behind Kiwi pacer Trent Boult, who has reached the pinnacle despite not featuring in the ODI series against India due to a hand injury.

Notably, Bumrah failed to pick a single wicket in three ODIs versus the Black Caps. While the 26-year-old fast bowler returned with the bowling figures of 0 for 50 in 10 overs in the third ODI on Tuesday (February 11), he had match figures of 0 for 64 and 0 for 53 in the first and second ODI respectively.

In the rankings for batsmen, Virat Kohli is heading the list with 869 rating points despite enduring an unforgettable series against New Zealand. The India captain managed to amass only 75 runs from three ODI innings.

India vice-captain Rohit Sharma, who missed the ODI series due to a calf injury, is at the second spot in the batting chart with 855 rating points. Pakistan batsman Babar Azam is third on the list with 829 rating points while New Zealand’s Ross Taylor is fourth with 828 rating points.

As far as the list of all-rounders is concerned – Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi has overtaken England’s World Cup hero Ben Stokes to claim the top spot. Ravindra Jadeja is the only Indian to feature in the list of top 10 all-rounders.
