India cricket team got away with a fake fielding on the first ball of 20th over against New Zealand. Jasprit Bumrah restricted Ross Taylor to a single, but a misfield from Manish Pandey and overthrow by Ravindra Jadeja cost India three extra runs.
They could have got 5 runs penalized too had umpire noticed Pandey's fake fielding. Taylor tried to go hard on a short-pitched delivery by Bumrah. He pulled it to deep midwicket and was satisfied with a single. But the fielders goofed up.
