NZ v IND 2022: “Cleaned all seats in comm box for overseas guests”- Simon Doull slams Sky Stadium for dirty seats

The first T20I in Wellington was washed out due to rain.

The first T20I had to be called off without the toss happening after rain continued to pour incessantly in Wellington, while players from both sides passed time by playing footvolley.

Simon Doull, who is part of the commentary panel for the series, took to Twitter to show and shame the organizers for the poor hospitality of the venue by sharing photos of dirty pieces of clothes next to the seats in the commentary box, which he had cleaned himself.

"Another great reason to play here at @skystadium. I have just cleaned all the seats in our commentary area so our overseas guests can sit down. What a shambles of a place. Embarrassing. #welcometoNZ," he tweeted.

Meanwhile, the series will now move to Mount Maunganui, where the second T20I is scheduled to be held on Sunday.
