The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), on April 15, 2025, announced the full schedule for the Indian team’s tour of Bangladesh for limited overs series. The team will play 3 ODIs and as many T20Is away from home, in the lead-up to the T20 World Cup in 2026.

The 6-match white-ball series will begin with a 3-ODI series and then the 3 T20I matches. The ODI series will begin with the first match on August 17 to be played in Mirpur. The second ODI will be played on August 20, also in Mirpur. The third and final ODI will be played in Chattogram on August 23.

The caravan will then move to T20Is, as the first match will be played on August 26 in Chattogram. The second T20I match will be played on August 29 in Mirpur and the final T20I will also be played in Mirpur on August 31.

India will look to break their voodoo when it comes to ODI series in Bangladesh as they have lost the previous two ODI series in 2015 and 2022.

The tour will be scheduled between India's Test tour of England and the home season. India will play a five-match series against England in June, July, and August.

India's home season begins in October, and the West Indies and South Africa visit India during the winter. India's home season will begin on October 2 with a two-match Test series against the West Indies, followed by two Tests, three ODIs, and five T20Is against South Africa in November and December.

In between the two home series, India will play three ODIs and five T20Is in Australia. Cricket Australia published the series' schedule earlier this month, with the ODIs starting on October 19 and the T20Is beginning on October 29.
