Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli | GettyIndia head coach Gautam Gambhir has picked his all-time India XI, which features legendary names such as Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, and MS Dhoni, in addition to batting superstar Virat Kohli.

However, India’s current Test and ODI skipper Rohit Sharma and star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah failed to make the cut, much to the surprise of the fans.

While Rohit is widely regarded as one of the finest openers produced by India, a number of cricket experts consider Bumrah as the greatest pacer to play for his country.

In a video shared by Sportskeeda Cricket on Instagram, Gambhir selected himself as opener in his all-time India XI alongside Virender Sehwag, followed by Dravid and Tendulkar at No. 3 and 4 positions.

Kohli was picked to bat at No. 5 batter, while Yuvraj Singh and Dhoni were slotted at No. 6 and 7 respectively.

Gambhir included Anil Kumble and Ravichandran Ashwin as the two spinners in his all-time XI, which also features featured Irfan Pathan and Zaheer Khan as pace-bowling options.

Gautam Gambhir represented India in 58 Tests, 147 ODIs, and 37 T20Is. He amassed 10,324 runs across formats with 20 centuries. The southpaw was instrumental in India’s 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 ODI World Cup triumphs.
