Hardik Pandya, the Indian all-rounder, on July 18, 2024, announced his divorce from actress Natasa Stankovic after 4 years of marriage. Both had gotten married during the Covid lockdown in 2020 after Hardik had proposed to her in Dubai the same year.
The couple welcomed their son Agastya in the same year. They renewed their vows last year in Udaipur with a Christian ceremony and traditional Hindu rituals.
Natasa, who is of Serbian origin, began her career in TV commercials before her Bollywood debut in Prakash Jha’s 'Satyagraha', appearing in a song. Later, she had small roles in films such as 'Dishkiyaoon', 'Action Jackson', '7 Hours to Go', and 'Zero'.
The divorce rumorbegun began a month or so ago when Natasa removed photos of them together from her Instagram and rev back to Stankovic last name, removing Pandya from it. Recently, Hardik was seen attending the wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Mumbai without Natasa by his side.
Though the couple had not divulged any information about the separation, doubts became stronger when Natasa flew to Serbiatheir with son Agastya yesterday.
Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya shared a joint statement on his Instagram account that read: “After 4 years of being together, Natasa and I have decided to mutually part ways. We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest for the both of us. This was a tough decision for us to make, given the joy, mutual respect and companionship we enjoyed together and as we grew a family.
We are blessed with Agastya, who will continue to be at the centre of both our lives and we will co-parent to ensure that we give him everything that we can for his happiness. We sincerely request your support and understanding to give us the privacy during this difficult and sensitive time. Hardik/Natasa”
