WATCH: “Giving it all I got,” Hardik Pandya bowls at full tilt in the nets after recovering from ankle injury

Hardik Pandya has been out of action since October 2023.

Hardik Pandya | InstagramIndia all-rounder Hardik Pandya seems to have completely recovered from his ankle injury as he has started bowling at full tilt in the nets.

Hardik has been out of action since injuring his ankle in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 match against Bangladesh in Pune on October 19. As a result, he went on to miss the remainder of the World Cup games, the Australia T20I series at home and the white-ball leg of the South Africa tour.

Moreover, Pandya couldn’t feature in the home T20I series against Afghanistan that took place earlier this month, raising questions over his fitness.

Multiple reports have claimed that the Hardik Pandya will make his return to competitive cricket with the IPL 2024, where he is slated to captain the Mumbai Indians (MI) team.

Meanwhile, Pandya has been sharing videos from gym sessions for his fans on social media. The all-rounder posted another clip on Saturday (January 27), in which he was seen bowling with great force.

"I'm feeling very good after coming back here. I treat (this ground) as a temple, because the amount of things I've learnt on this ground, it's like a temple for me. What it has taught me is priceless. My journey started literally 17 years back on this very ground. I will make sure everything possible today, and every day," Hardik was heard saying in the video, which appears to be shot during a net session back home in Baroda.

Notably, Hardik Pandya was appointed MI’s new captain last month. He would be succeeding Rohit Sharma, who led the franchise to five IPL titles in his 10-year stint as skipper.

Pandya was handed the captaincy less than a month after he returned to MI, following a high-profile trade from Gujarat Titans (GT), whom he led in the past two seasons.
