Apart from Yadav, Ravi Bishnoi, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Arshdeep Singh were the three other Indians to be included in the team.

Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 430 runs off just 15 matches including a century in the Asian Games 2023. He will open the innings in the XI along with England’s Phil Salt. Nichols Pooran has been named the wicketkeeper of the side, with Suryakumar Yadav at no.4 spot.

Mark Chapman, Sikandar Raza, and Alpesh Ramjani occupy the lower middle-order spots in the XI. Richard Ngarava and Mark Adair are the pacers in the XI. India’s Ravi Bishnoi and Arshdeep Singh complete the ICC Men’s T20I team of the year for 2023.

Bishnoi saw a sensational rise in stature in 2023 and was also the no.1 ranked bowler in T20Is for a short duration. He had an excellent outing in the home series against Australia.

On the other hand, Arshdeep Singh picked up 26 wickets from 21 matches in 2023. Arshdeep's ability to bowl in the powerplay and at the death makes him a unique asset for any team that he plays in.
