England T100 League 2023: Preview, Squads, Schedule & Top Player Cards

T100 League is an unconventional franchise-based cricket tournament introduced by England in 2021. The format is different, and so are the rules. Each team plays 100 balls with an over of either 5 or 10 balls.

A total of eight teams participate in the men’s event on a round-robin league cum playoffs basis. Team Southern won the first edition of the tournament while Trent lifted the trophy in 2022 (the second edition). The third season is set to start from August 01 with defending champions Trent taking on Team Southern in the first match.

What makes T100 different from other forms of cricket?

  • 100 balls per innings

  • A change of ends after 10 balls

  • Bowlers deliver either five or 10 consecutive balls

  • Each bowler can deliver a maximum of 20 balls per game

  • 25-ball powerplay

  • No-balls are worth two runs and a free hit
