Virat Kohli’s achievement as a cricketer is surreal, to say the least. He has taken Indian cricket to greater heights with his batting and captaincy over the years.
Kohli has represented India in 108 Tests, 274 ODIs and 115 T20Is so far, amassing more than 25000 international runs with 75 centuries. He led India in 213 matches across formats and won 135 of them. His success rate as Indian captain is one of the best in the history of cricket.
No wonder, Virat Kohli is considered as one of the leading sports brands in the world. Recently, a question related to the former India skipper featured in a national level exam.
During the examination of the UPSC, candidates appearing in the National Defence Academy paper were asked about Kohli’s achievement.
It was a statement question, in which the students were asked whether Kohli has won the Player of the Tournament in the ICC T20 World Cup twice.
The question also had another statement which read, “England is the only country that won the ICC T20 World Cup twice.”
Talking about Virat Kohli, he is currently featuring in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). In five matches for RCB so far, Kohli has registered scores of 82*, 21, 61, 50 and 6.
