Cricket fans got to see some frustrating scenes on television during the ongoing third and final Test between England and New Zealand at Headingley, Leeds.

An advertisement featuring late Australian spin legend Shane Warne was aired on TV during the ongoing Test match in Leeds, which left fans shocked and angered, and it has now been widely criticized on Twitter.

Warne appeared in the Advanced Hair Studio advertisement during a break of Sky Sports coverage of Day 2 of the ongoing third Test between England and New Zealand, and fans found it very distressing, as the Aussie great had passed away back in March this year.

Notably, the legendary cricketer passed away on March 4, 2022, while holidaying in Thailand due to a heart attack. He was remembered on the opening day of the first Test at Lord’s, where the players and fans stood up for 23 seconds after the 23rd over of the New Zealand innings was completed to pay tribute to the legendary leg-spinner. And now such an irresponsible act has left the fans disappointed.

Some of the Twitter users grabbed the screenshot from their TV when the ad was aired and shared it on Twitter while labeling it as quite shocking. Notably, Warne was a client of Advanced Hair Studio, where he undertook laser hair therapy back in 2005.
