India's limited-overs skipper Rohit Sharma and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja are at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru working on regaining their full fitness. They were ruled out of the upcoming three-match Test series against South Africa, which starts from December 26.

India's U19 captain Yash Dhull posted pictures with Rohit and Jadeja on his Instagram account. He is with the India U-19 squad at the NCA for a preparatory camp ahead of the upcoming ACC U-19 Asia Cup, scheduled to be played in the UAE from December 23.

Jadeja had suffered a right forearm injury during the first Test match against New Zealand in Kanpur and got ruled out of the second Test. He was not selected for the South Africa tour due to injury.

“Jadeja has obviously been a very, very important play for us. He contributes in all three departments of the game, which is invaluable especially in overseas conditions. He will be missed," India's Test captain Virat Kohli had said in the press conference before departing for South Africa.

Rohit, who was appointed as vice-captain for the Test series on South Africa tour, sustained a left hamstring injury during his training session in Mumbai and was ruled out of the entire Test series.

Priyank Panchal replaced Rohit in the Test squad for the South Africa tour. Team India have reached South Africa on Thursday (December 16) and they are currently under the bio-bubble at Irene Country Lodge.
