BCCI’s selection committee on Tuesday (November 9) announced the India ‘A’ squad for the upcoming South Africa tour.

Priyank Panchal has been named the captain of the 14-member squad, which also includes Prithvi Shaw, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Devdutt Padikkal, Sarfaraz Khan, and Baba Aparajith.

Upendra Yadav will don the keeping gloves on the tour while K Gowtham, Rahul Chahar, Saurabh Kumar are the spin bowling options.

Navdeep Saini and Ishan Porel feature in the fast bowling department in addition to pace sensation Umran Malik and Arzan Nagwaswalla.

The India ‘A’ team will play three four-day matches during the South Africa tour, which will get underway on November 23 in Bloemfontein.
