Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni led his side to their fourth IPL title as they defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the final by 27 runs. Dhoni's wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva were spotted celebrating the victory with him after the match.
There were speculations over Sakshi being pregnant which was confirmed by Suresh Raina's wife Priyanka. Dhoni and Sakshi are expecting their second child very soon.
The couple was blessed with their first child, Ziva in 2015. Dhoni was in Australia for the 2015 World Cup with Team India when Sakshi gave birth to their daughter in India.
After the IPL is over, Dhoni will now join the Indian cricket team as a mentor for the upcoming T20 World Cup. Dhoni will be working closely with captain Virat Kohli and coach Ravi Shastri for the tournament.
Kohli won't continue as T20I captain of India after the tournament, and Shastri's stint with the team is also ending. Dhoni was requested by BCCI to join the team as a team mentor and he agreed to the proposal.
BCCI President Sourav Ganguly had confirmed that Dhoni won't charge any fee for the role. “Dhoni will not charge anything to mentor the Indian team,” Ganguly said.
