Indian wicketkeeper-batsman KL Rahul lauded skipper Virat Kohli saying that he carries the other 10 players along with him and pulls them to give their 200 per cent.

Team India under Virat Kohli has been ruthless in all three formats both at home as well as in away conditions. The 32-year-old is one of the finest leaders going around.

Under his captaincy current Team India is one of the fittest teams in the world and the fearless attitude of the players has helped the team reach new heights in world cricket and is the nation’s most successful Test captain surpassing the likes of Sourav Ganguly and MS Dhoni.

"Any of us would take a bullet for Dhoni," says KL Rahul on respect for MS Dhoni

Virat Kohli over the years might not have been able to win an ICC trophy as a leader, but has an excellent win ratio and has instilled intent in the team and irrespective of the result the team’s approach remains the same.

He has taken the team to 33 wins in Tests, 65 wins in 95 ODIs, and 27 from 45 in T20Is and took the team to its first Test series victory in Australia in 2018-19, after waiting for 71 years.

KL Rahul heaped rich praise on Virat Kohli saying that he’s a very passionate individual who gives his 200 per cent. He added that the kingpin of the Indian batting line-up carries the other 10 players along with him and pull thems from 100 to 200.

“Playing with and under Virat Kohli, he is a different sort of captain. He is a very passionate individual. He operates at 200. 100 is the best you possibly can be at, but he operates at 200. He has the unbelievable ability to carry the other 10 guys and pull them from 100 to 200," KL Rahul told Forbes India.

Virat Kohli’s next assignment will be the five-Test series against England. The skipper would be looking to earn India’s first Test series win in England since 2007, as over the last three series in the country, India have been outplayed.
