The first Test match between England and New Zealand being played at Lord’s, even though looks like a draw after a completely washed-out Day 3, pacer Tim Southee feels the visitors can "push on" against England and go for a win.
The right-arm quick picked 6-43 and restricted England to 275 in reply to New Zealand’s 378. In the second innings, the Kiwis are 62-2 at the end of Day 4 with a lead of 165 runs. Thus, due to rain on the third day, the match might end in a draw.
“If we'd have turned up at the start of the day and told we were going to walk off with the position we're in now we'd have been pretty happy. But the England side doesn't just rollover. Who knows what may happen but it's great to be in a position where we can push on with all three results still possible,” Southee told the reporters.

Southee got his name on the Lord's honors board for the second time in his career after the 10-wicket haul in the 2013 Test and felt satisfied to do the job for his team.
“Any time you contribute to the side and do your job it's very satisfying and I guess it's a little bit sweeter at such as special grounds as Lord's,” the pacer said.
Even though the washed-out day has reduced both teams’ chance of victory, it will be interesting to see how both teams fight on the final day.
As Kane Williamson and Co. are scheduled to take on Team India in the final of the inaugural edition of the World Test Championship (WTC) at Southampton, this Test series will only help them in getting used to the English conditions which will help them immensely in the WTC final.
