"Grateful to serve my people in this pandemic," Shikhar Dhawan donates oxygen concentrators

Veteran India opener Shikhar Dhawan has donated oxygen concentrators to Gurugram Police amid the second wave of COVID-19 in India. 

In the past few days, the country has emerged as one of the worst COVID-19 hit nations across the globe of India as many people are struggling to find hospital beds, oxygen, and other basic medical essentials.

With the second wave of coronavirus raging havoc across the country many local and overseas cricketers have come forward to help the country in these tough times.

IPL 2021: Shikhar Dhawan donates INR 20 lakh and IPL prize money to India's fight against COVID-19

Veteran Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan has once again come forward to help the country in these times. The southpaw has donated oxygen concentrators. The Gurugram Police informed about the noble donation by him. 

Retweeting the post of Gurugram police, Shikhar Dhawan said that he is always ready to help his people and society. 

"Grateful to serve my people in this pandemic through this small token of help! Always ready to help my people and society to my best. India shall rise and shine against this pandemic!" Shikhar Dhawan Tweeted. 

Shikhar Dhawan was last seen in action in IPL 2021, which was indefinitely postponed after several COVID-19 cases were found in bio-bubble, the Delhi Capitals opener was in a red hot form, scoring 380 runs from 8 games and was also the orange cap holder.
