India speedster Mohammed Siraj missed his late father on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. He shared a picture with his family and wrote an emotional caption reminding everyone how much joy parents bring to one's life.
"When parents are around every day is like Eid and when they are not even Eid doesn't bring the same happiness. Miss you Papa," translates Siraj's caption in Hindi.

Siraj was on an Australia tour when he lost his father last year. His mother told him to continue playing and not to miss out on the Test debut, which his father always wanted.
The 27-year-old made an impact with the ball in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2020-21 which India won by 2-1. He was leading the bowling attack in the last Test as the lead bowlers were rested because of injury.
Siraj's hard work has paid off and it was seen in his bowling during the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021). He has also been named in the 20-man squad for the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand and the 5-Test series in England in August-September.
