Harbhajan Singh receives help from Sonu Sood after SOS tweet for Remdesivir

Sonu Sood had earlier helped out Suresh Raina who needed oxygen cylinder.

Veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh received help from Bollywood actor Sonu Sood after he posted an 'SOS' tweet. India is hit by the second wave of COVID-19 and there is a huge demand for Remdesivir injection which has caused its shortage.

Harbhajan posted a tweet for the Remdesivir injection on his Twitter account. He posted the information of the patient and wrote, "1 remdesiver injection ???? required (urgent) Hospital- Basappa hospital near Aishwarya fort , chitradurga, Karnatka Pls contact this no : 9845527157 ????".

Sood responded to the tweet and wrote that the injection will be delivered. Harbhajan was grateful for the help and he thanked him. "Thank you my brother ????????..may god bless you with more strength," he tweeted.

Earlier, Sood had helped out ex-India cricketer Suresh Raina as well. Raina had requested an Oxygen cylinder for one of his relatives and the actor came for help.

Sood is running a foundation to help out needy people. He had helped the migrant workers to reach home last year after the lockdown was announced.
