India cricketer KL Rahul made his first Instagram post after the suspension of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021). During the IPL 14, the Punjab Kings (PBKS) skipper was admitted to the hospital for surgery after he complained of severe abdomen pain.

Rahul wasn’t responding to medication and was taken to the emergency room for further tests and has been diagnosed with acute appendicitis. However, he wasn't ruled out of the IPL 2021 and was supposed to join the squad after full recovery.

But now as the tournament is postponed, Rahul is spending time at home after the treatment. He posted a picture with his pet dogs on Instagram and wrote that he's 'healing'.

The Team India squad for the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final and the England tour includes Rahul but his availability is subject to medical clearance.

Even wicket-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha was named in the squad but along with Rahul, his inclusion for the UK tour also depends on his fitness.
