April 30, 2021 marks the 34th birthday of India opener Rohit Sharma. Fondly known as Hitman, Rohit is widely regarded as one of the most skilled batsmen in contemporary cricket.

Rohit, who made his international debut in 2007, has quite a few world records to his name. He is the proud owner of the highest individual ODI score — 264 (against Sri Lanka in 2014). Moreover, he is the only batsman to have smashed three ODI double tons and four Twenty20 international centuries.
In his illustrious cricket career, Sharma has amassed 9205 ODI runs in 227 matches at an average of 48.96 and a strike rate of 88.90. He boasts 22 tons in the 50-over format and was the top run-getter (648) in the 2019 ODI World Cup.
Rohit has also played a vital role in India’s 2007 ICC T20 World Cup triumph and 2013 ICC Champions Trophy title win.
Coming to his exploits in Test cricket, Rohit has left a lasting impression on everyone while batting at the top after struggling in the middle-order. The right-hander has played 38 Tests so far, scoring 2615 runs at an average of 46.69 with 7 hundreds and 12 fifties.
