Former Indian captain and current BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has hailed the current crop of the Indian cricketers and said they are all “fantastic”, but made a special mention for Rishabh Pant, saying he is “obsessed” with the young wicketkeeper-batsman.
Recently, the legendary cricketer was asked to pick his favorite India cricketers and he denied picking a single player, saying the current players in the Indian team are fantastic in their own way. However, he was mightily impressed by Pant who had a brilliant series against England at home.
Ganguly said on a YouTube chatshow, “All [among current cricketers] are fantastic players. As president of the BCCI, I shouldn't pick one over the other. I enjoy Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma's batting.

On his health, the BCCI President said he is now fit and fine as well and has returned to work after undergoing angioplasty earlier this year. The 48-year-old had three blocked coronary arteries and a stent was inserted in one to remove the blockage.
He was twice admitted to the hospital after he felt uneasiness and chest pain. Recently, Ganguly underwent a second round of angioplasty and was asked to follow a strict routine.
Ganguly signed off by saying, “I am fit and fine and back to work.”
