Former India cricketer Pragyan Ojha has responded to international pop singer Rihanna's post regarding the ongoing farmers' protest in India.

Taking to Twitter on Tuesday (February 2), she showed her support for the protest and asked why aren't people talking about it.

Ojha seemed to have not liked Rihanna's post on the issue and he told her to stay out of India's 'internal' matter. The ex-cricketer wrote that the country is proud of Indian farmers and he also believes the issue will be addressed by the government soon.

Sharing a news piece, Rihanna wrote, "why aren't we talking about this?! #FarmersProtest." To which, Ojha responded, "My country is proud of our farmers and knows how important they are, I trust it will be addressed soon. We don't need an outsider poking her nose in our internal matters!".

The ex-India spinner's tweet got a mixed reaction on Twitter. While some believed if he's proud of the farmers, Rihanna raising the voice shouldn't affect him, few backed Ojha and found it correct to say the outsiders are not welcome in India's issues.

Ojha, who played 24 Tests, 18 ODIs, and 6 T20Is for India, had retired from international and first-class cricket last year.
