Former South Africa cricketer Jacques Kallis was disappointed to see no Proteas player wearing a black armband to pay respects to the late Robin Jackman. South Africa is playing Sri Lanka in Centurion in the first of two Test matches.

Jackman, who passed away in Cape Town at the age of 75, played cricket for England before working in South Africa as a commentator.

"Sad to see no Black armbands worn by Proteas for Robin Jackman today. A man that gave so much to SA cricket at all levels and all walks of life. RIP Jackers," Kallis tweeted.

Jackman, an India-born, was married to a South African and he moved there permanently after getting a coaching job. He had worked with SuperSport a lot and his work as a commentator was recognized the most.
