Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar's 241* against Australia in Sydney in 2003-04 series to break his poor run of form has been one of his most iconic knocks at the international level. The batting maestro has revealed that he listened to the same song on the loop for the five days of that particular Test match.

Tendulkar disclosed that he listened to Bryan Adams' famous song 'Summer of 69' whenever he went into the dressing room on all five days of the match. The song, unarguably, is as iconic as that innings in Sydney, and it is one those sweet coincidence that would excite the fans of both Tendulkar and Adams.

In a Q&A session on his YouTube channel, Sachin Tendulkar said, "The song that I heard, I remember in 2004 in Sydney when I scored 241 not out, those five days I only heard one song Bryan Adams’ Summer of 69."

"I put that song on loop. Whether we were travelling to the ground, in the dressing room, before I was walking out to bat, lunch time, tea time, after the match, going back to the hotel five days it was only Summer of 69 and nothing else," the 47-year-old reminisced.

He also revealed a similar ritual he followed in the 2003 World Cup, where he scored 673 runs when no other batsman scored even 500. In that purple patch, he listened to Lucky Ali's album 'Sur'.

"I also remember that during the 2003 World Cup in South Africa, I listened to Lucky Ali’s 'Sur' album. I thought it was really good and as time went by, it kept growing on me more and more," Tendulkar said.
