The tenth edition of the Big Bash League (BBL) is gradually moving forward with plenty of innovations in the field of play, around the rules of the game and now with some 'never seen before' advertisement deals.

BBL has already changed the course of play with some exciting rules that see more than 11 players from each side take part in a single game of cricket. They have managed to take the excitement level of fans to the next level with those changes.

Talking about taking things to the next level, BBL has now introduced the latest area of advertisements during live matches. For the first time in the history of the game, cricket umpires will be seen sporting deodorant ads under their arms on the uniform.

The ads will be visible when the umpires signal their arms around and give a clear view of the picture to the cameras.

According to a report in The Guardian, a popular deodorant and antiperspirant brand in Australia, Rexona, has partnered with Cricket Australia for the upcoming edition of the BBL.

The sponsorship deal with Rexona is supposed to rake in a huge sum of $70 million during the course of the competition. It is only a part of the deal for the umpires to flaunt those ads under their arms.

BBL 10 will have on display a whole new lot of attractions in the upcoming edition and will make for an exciting viewing experience for the fans. The tournament opener will be contested by the Hobart Hurricanes and defending champions Sydney Sixers on Thursday, December 10.
