Team India is currently led by Virat Kohli in all three formats of the game. Kohli also leads Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the IPL. India's limited-overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma leads the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the IPL and has been more successful than Kohli.

RCB is yet to win an IPL trophy while Sharma has won 5 trophies as captain for the Mumbai Indians in the last 8 years.

"Winning the T20 World Cup 2021 will add to Virat Kohli's legacy," says Harbhajan Singh

Gujarat opener Parthiv Patel, who has played under both these captains in the IPL, compared the two and stated that the MI skipper is a little ahead of the RCB captain in terms of decision making.

Patel said on Star Sports Cricket Connected show, "The point here is that who can make a better decision, who can read the game better? Who will make a decision in a pressure situation that will help the team win? And in that case, Rohit Sharma is a little ahead."

While there are murmurs of split-captaincy at the highest level gaining steam, there is no talk about it among the men that matter. Virat Kohli will now lead India in the limited-overs leg in Australia when they played 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is from November 27.

He will leave the team after the first Test for the birth of his first child while Ajinkya Rahane will take over the captaincy for the rest of the three Tests.
