The batting prodigy from Mumbai, Prithvi Shaw, turned 21 on Monday, November 9. He has been in the news ever since making a century on Test debut in 2018 against the West Indies but is yet to cement his place in the team owing to fitness and form issues.
Shaw led India's U19 side to a World Cup victory in New Zealand in 2018 and earned his Test call-up pretty soon. In 4 Tests, he has already scored a century and a couple of half-centuries. He has also played 3 ODIs but has not managed to go past 40 yet.

Yuvraj Singh wished him on his 21st birthday with a rather appreciative message as he called Shaw 'present and future of India'.

Shaw has been selected to play for India in the upcoming series Down Under. The youngster finds himself a place in the squad for the Test series starting next month.
The last time he was in Australia, he missed out after injuring his ankle in the practice game. He will be looking forward to performing this time around if he gets a chance.
